The club offer free assistance by helping the player and parent through the process of finding colleges/universities in the United States, by connecting them to a huge pool of coaches around the country through partnership connections, and a vast database of contact details.

Scholarship showcase games are arranged internally for all players wishing to pursue this pathway to record game footage, to help build the playing profile that will need to be sent to clubs as an advertisement. Our team players are also able to record more footage on their weekly match days to help build their profile extra footage to support the applications.

All footage is professionally cut and tailored to showcase the best of the individual by the Heart of Midlothian first team and Northern Ireland video analyst.

Three players are currently in the States; James Lang (Buffalo, New York), Kieran Fox (Spartanburg Methodist College, South Carolina), Scott Wilson (Erie, Pennsylvania)

To attend a college/university in the USA, you are required to pay for your tuition fees. By obtaining a scholarship to become a student athlete, it allows you to pay a percentage. The average cost of attending schools is $35,000.

 

Our AM Soccer players have received scholarships worth over $500,000 for the 4 years they will be in education. Whilst AM Soccer Club are very proud to have achieved such high levels of scholarships for our players, we believe we can extend these opportunities further.
