About AMS

AMS charity is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). It was registered in its current form as AMS in August 2015. The objectives of AMS are to serve the community and individuals: by fostering and promoting educational, health, social, and life skills; by working directly and laterally with peer organisations in these field, and by using sport, exercise and leisure activities, to achieve the following goals:

  • Advancement of Education
  • Advancement of Community Development
  • The relief of those in Need by reason of Age, Ill-Health, Disability, Financial Hardship or other Disadvantage
  • Advancement of Public Participation in Sport
  • Provision of Recreational Facilities

The charity provides a wide range of football based sessions across North East Fife through our AMsoccer club strand which currently has over 500 participants playing football each week. The charity are currently developing programmes in the form of Walking Football for the Elderly, football based sport for the Learning Disabled and also working hard towards increasing participation in sport in Rural Schools through extra-curricular multi-sport activities.

Our ambition is to be the best non-professional football club in the world - lets aim there and see where we end up rather than staying here and knowing where we are.
